If you're writing something for this one, have no fear! I've accepted a few stories, but there's still room. Why? Because I'll be doing a Horns & Halos 2! This seems to have been a popular one, so yeah, there will be room for more. So hurry! :D

I'm sending out edits for the Summer Solstice Taste Test today, so those of you waiting, they're on their way. I'll also be reading subs for the Horns & Halos one. The deadline isn't til July 15th, but these things are filling up FAST. So if you see a call you like, best to get it written quickly. Just a note for Horns & Halos: no acceptances/rejections have been made, so if you've got something, send it!

Next on the editing/Taste Test agenda after Summer Solstice is A Day at the Beach.

Taste Tests are small collections of two to three stories ranging from  3000-7000 words each for a total of 10000-20000 words. We'll post themes  that we'd like to see, and authors can submit one story or a whole  collection. Those who submit whole collections may suggest their own  theme, but it needs to work together, with all stories relating to that  theme.

Our standard submission requirements apply as far as formatting and  cover letters. Please send all submissions to  submissions@torquerepress.com care of Mychael Black.

Payment for this line is standard royalty rates, split equally amongst  all authors.
